Super refreshing & complex. Chamomile, citrus, jasmine and juicy pear.

It's good to get back to the classics - but not the regular kind, but the haute couture version, or you know - OLD FASHION.

Myta Gesha from Elkin Guzman is a coffee that doesn't have to shout to impress. Seemingly delicate, yet complex. Seemingly elegant, but with temperament. And above all: pure drinking pleasure - the essence of what we love a good washed kaffffee for. Fresh as the cool dew in the morning, yet smooth as silk. One that you want to drink slowly - but finishes far too quickly.

What makes this coffee so special? Well, let's start with the fact that it comes from one of Colombia's most respected farms, El Mirador, run by Elkin Guzman, let us tell you - our hearty compatriot in the industry!

It is he who, on 30 hectares of coffee paradise in the Huila region, has created a micro-world full of experimentation and perfect detail. Soils rich in organic matter, controlled shade and precise fruit selection (90% maturity, 20-22 Brix) are just the beginning.

Speaking of Gesha - it is a variety of legend. Loved for its teainess, intense floral aromas and outstanding cup purity. Chosen not infrequently by Masters for World Competitions. Originally from Ethiopia, but under Colombian conditions - especially under the guidance of people like Elkin - it shows its full potential.

What makes these cherries so special?

Region

In Huila, everything plays in favour of coffee: an altitude of 1550-1700 m, volcanic soil and a microclimate that spoils the plantations.
Coffees from here are like good films - complex, full of layers and emotions, surprising in their freshness and intensity.
There's a reason Huila is the coffee heart of Colombia.

Botanical varieties

Gesha (aka Geisha)
Gesha is a star on the global specialty scene. Originally from Ethiopia, this variety is known for its incredible aromatics - lots of florals, light teainess, elegance. Gesha grows slowly, needs care and the right terroir - but when it all comes together, it produces an effect that is hard to mistake for anything else. This is a coffee to celebrate.

Processing method

Washed
No additives, no experiments - classic washed, performed by a master.

How does it taste in a cup?

Imagine a tea meadow full of chamomile, where the scent of jasmine and fresh coffee blossoms intertwine between the flowers. In the background, pear and orange, all wrapped in a citrus breeze. A taste that combines lightness with depth, freshness with elegance. The kind of Gesha you want to drink in a white shirt on the terrace - but also in a tracksuit if the day is special.

Colombia - the kingdom of coffee

Colombia is an icon in the coffee world - not only as one of the largest producers, but also as a leader in quality. The country owes this to both its geographical diversity and the passion of its small producers. In regions like Huila, coffee is not just a crop - it is part of the identity. And coffee from Elkin Guzman is a perfect example of what happens when experience meets perfection.

"Super refreshing and elegant. The aroma reminds me of coffee flowers, mirabelles and peaches. A beautiful washed coffee." - Robert Rybczynski, head roaster. Polish Coffee Roasting Champion.
