If you are looking for a coffee that is both welcoming and intriguing, Peru Cajamarca is exactly what you need - the perfect companion for every day

Why is our coffee special?

Region

The coffee comes from the Cajamarca region of northern Peru, where the plantations are located at altitudes of between 1,600 and 2,000 metres above sea level. Such conditions favour the slow maturation of the beans, which translates into a rich and complex flavour profile. Local farmers, often associated in cooperatives, take care of traditional cultivation methods, which guarantees the high quality and unique character of the coffee.

Botanical varieties

Typica - a classic variety with a delicate and balanced flavour profile.

Caturra - a variety prized for its expressiveness and richness of flavour.

Processing method

Grains Peru Cajamarca are washed to bring out clean and distinctive flavours. This process involves removing the pulp of the coffee fruit before drying, which emphasises the natural sweetness and clarity in the cup.

And what's in a cup?

In the cup, you can expect a full, velvety taste with dominant notes of milk chocolate and roasted nuts forming a cosy base. Subtle fruity accents add lightness and a touch of surprise, making each successive note pleasantly revealing. Espresso with Peru Cajamarca delights with its balanced acidity, creamy body and delicate sweetness, which make it the perfect coffee both solo and in milk variations. It's a cup full of harmony and finesse! 😊

How to prepare?

Peru

Peru is a country with exceptional conditions for growing coffee, which guarantee the highest quality. The mountainous terrain of the Andes, rich in volcanic soils, and cultivation at altitudes of between 1,200 and 2,000 metres above sea level create the ideal environment for the coffee plants to thrive. Thanks to the diverse microclimates, Peruvian coffees have a complex flavour profile, combining delicate fruitiness with notes of chocolate and nuts. What's more, Peru is renowned for its organic and traditional farming methods, making coffees from the region prized by specialty coffee lovers around the world.
