Colombia Cauca Decaf is a decaffeinated coffee that tastes like a full-fledged espresso. Its mild notes of milk chocolate, nuts and subtle vanilla make it hard to believe it is decaf. Ideal for those who want to enjoy a cup of coffee at any time of the day, without fear of stimulation. Slightly sweet, smooth and extremely enjoyable - this is decaf on a new and unique level.

What makes our coffee special?

Region

Colombia Cauca Decaf comes from the Cauca region of Colombia, which is renowned for its exceptional coffee-growing conditions. The plantations are located at altitudes between 1,200 and 2,000 metres above sea level, where the cool mountain air and fertile volcanic soils favour the slow ripening of the coffee fruit. This is what makes the Cauca region known for its coffees with a complex, rich flavour profile that combines juicy fruit notes with a delicate sweetness and pleasant body. Add to this the passion of the local farmers and their years of experience, and you have a coffee that perfectly represents Colombian quality and tradition.

Processing method

Our cherries have undergone the Sugarcane E.A. natural decaffeination process, which means that the caffeine is removed naturally, without the use of artificial chemicals. Thanks to this process, our coffee retains all its unique flavours and aromas while being decaffeinated.

What does our decaf Colombia taste like?

Its sensory profile is dominated by juicy notes of raspberries and cherries, which blend harmoniously with touches of brownie and hazelnut. As a result, each cup offers a full-bodied taste experience, not inferior in intensity to traditional coffees with caffeine.

Colombia

Colombia is one of the world's most respected coffee producers, known for its excellent growing conditions. Fertile, volcanic soils, a variety of microclimates and cultivation at high altitudes from 1,200 to as high as 2,200 metres above sea level mean that Colombian coffees are characterised by extremely complex flavour profiles. In addition, traditional harvesting methods, in which each cherry is hand-picked, guarantee the highest quality. As a result, Colombia remains synonymous with coffees of exceptional sweetness, juiciness and richness of flavour, making it an ideal choice for specialty coffee lovers.
