Guatemala Finca La Soledad is a speciality coffee that perfectly showcases the character of the Acatenango region. The farm has been owned by the Pérez family for five generations. It is currently run by Henio Pérez and his sons Raul and Jose. Their passion and commitment make La Soledad one of the most highly regarded plantations in Guatemala.

The plantation is 90 hectares in size. Interestingly, only half of the area is made up of coffee plants. The other half remains wild forest, which enriches the microclimate and protects the soil. As a result, the coffee grows in a natural ecosystem and acquires a unique depth of flavour.

Region Acatenango is famous for its ideal conditions for coffee cultivation. The mountainous terrain, fertile volcanic soils and cool nights slow down the ripening of the fruit.
