Each coffee has its own story, its own unique character and a taste that can transport you to distant countries without you having to get up from your favourite armchair.

What is a coffee bean?

Coffee beans is the true essence of the coffee experience. The coffee beans from which it is made are carefully harvested, fermented and dried, then roasted to bring out their distinctive flavour and aroma. It is these processes that ensure that the coffee beans retain their natural characteristics and offer a unique taste experience. For many coffee lovers, bean coffee is the classic of the genre, allowing you to enjoy the fullness of flavour and aroma not found in ground or instant coffee. By choosing it, we are investing in quality and authenticitywhich are part and parcel of a true coffee adventure.

How do you choose the right coffee beans for you?

Choosing the right coffee beans is a real art that requires you to consider several key factors. First of all, consider what flavour suits you best. If you prefer delicate, subtle notes, go for Arabica. If you prefer a stronger, more intense flavour, Robusta will be a better choice.

Another important aspect is method of roasting coffee. Light roasting highlights the natural flavours and acidity of the coffee, while dark roasting gives it a deeper, more pronounced flavour. It is also worth paying attention to the origin of the coffee, as beans from different regions of the world have their own unique flavour characteristics.

Don't forget to experiment too! Our coffee shop offers a wide selection of different coffees. Don't be afraid to try new flavours and discover what suits you best. Remember that coffee is not just a drink, but also a journey through different corners of the world and cultures.

Coffee lovers should drink coffee beans in moderation

Moderation is commendable and comes with age. Youth is impetuous and greedy like a pack of hungry werewolves, while maturity is calm and prudent. This is not to say that it lacks ambition, which it does not. It is simply that, due to the far more realistic view of situations that comes from experience than from youth, it does not throw itself headlong into everything it feels like doing, but enjoys life in a more subdued, elegant and discreet manner.

Maturity knows that coffee has a stimulating effect. It raises blood pressure by accelerating the release of norepinephrine and dopamine, the stimulant neurotransmitters, and because of its effect on the reuptake of adenosine, the 'fatigue signal'.

Maturity also knows that such effects are desirable when you are tired and sleepy and need to mobilise yourself. That's why a mature person doesn't drink coffee when he's agitated, has trouble concentrating, is nervous or can't sleep. He doesn't drink because he knows it's like putting out a fire with petrol, or a man calming down an upset female life partner by asking her to calm down because she's exaggerating a bit, in the expectation that she'll think about it, realise she's exaggerating a bit and calm down. Well it will not work as expected.

Therefore, instead of wringing out four coffees in the morning with the enthusiasm of a thirsty puppy, maturity will settle for one, in order to calmly assess the effect and possibly repeat the procedure. One coffee, but a good one. After all, delicious coffee is something to celebrate.

Drink good coffee beans - choose speciality coffee

It is a waste of life to do nothing. We only have one life, and it is as incredibly short as the time between birth and death. Therefore, if we want to make this journey any more pleasant (and sensible coffee drinking is just such a pleasant act), it should be used to the full extent of decency permitted by law.

Raphael Wojaczek growled in one of his poems "Ah, if we could catch that sk******n who invented this world for us. But we won't catch him, because he is so merciful that he won't let the human mind catch up with him. Fortunately, because if we did catch....

But fortunately, there are also tried-and-tested ways of making your journey through this vale of tears more pleasant. The benefits of our culture should be enjoyed to the full.

Coffee from Africa came to Europe, from Europe it went to America, and from America it returned to Europe richer in new varieties. Speciality coffee is distinguished by unique features such as hand-picking and different processing methods that contribute to its unique flavour. Choose the one that suits you. African, American, as long as it satisfies your taste buds in the right way!

Just remember that it must be well roasted by specialists, in a coffee roasters with a good reputation.

Coffee beans should be drunk well brewed

What is the best way to brew coffee beans? Opinions are, as usual, divided. Basically, with this best method it's like that back part of the body where the back loses its noble name - everyone has their own.

Some people like Turkish coffee. Not sit while drinking, but Turkish-style coffee, i.e. ground beans poured over boiling water. Correctly it should be coffee with sugar boiled several times in a pot or saucepan and there are, of course, amateurs of this orthodox method.

Some people like espresso coffee. Quick, simple and on top of that there is a choice of brew type. Only a good coffee machine should be owned.

Some people like coffee from a coffee machineor macinette, or Moka teapot. It's a bit of work, but the coffee is strong and aromatic.

Some people like cold brew coffee, a drink that soaked up the flavour of ground coffee cold in the fridge. I recommend it especially in summer.

And others from aeropress, chemex, french press, and still others... STOP! There are plenty of methods for brewing coffee beans. As is often the case with activities that give pleasure, human ingenuity in achieving this pleasure is almost infinite.

And the best method is your favourite! Enjoy.
