A classic with soul and fruity sparkle.
Agua Tibia is a Guatemalan tale written in the language of ripe fruit and chocolate. Slightly rustic, but wonderfully welcoming - perfect for everyday and quiet afternoons. The flavour shows ripe red fruits, broken by delicate cocoa and soft acidity. This is a coffee you drink slowly - not because you have to, but because you want to. It has something familiar but also fresh about it - like a house you haven't been to in a long time but still smells of childhood

Botanical varieties

Bourbon & Caturra
Bourbon is a classic arabica variety, known for its velvety texture and chocolate and nutty notes. Caturra - its natural mutation - adds a little more acidity and lightness. In duo, they create a profile that is ideal for Guatemala: sweet, mild but with character.

Processing method

Natural
In the case of Agua Tibia, the natural processing is done in the traditional way: the fruit is dried in the sun on African beds, which preserves a maximum of flavour and sweetness. This method emphasises the fruity character of the coffee, in this case with accents of berries and ripe plums.

How does the new Guatemala taste under the filter?

Soft and cosy - like an alpaca wool blanket on a chilly morning. A pleasant sweetness of ripe fruit strikes first: plums, cherries, maybe even dried cranberries. Then comes the cocoa - not heavy and bitter, but rather velvety and light, like a dessert from a good pastry shop. The whole is wrapped in a mild acidity that gives it a lightness. This is an everyday coffee, but with a twist - like a simple dish that someone has seasoned with a pinch of genius.

Guatemala

Guatemala is one of the most stable and respected coffee-producing countries in Central America. Ideal climatic conditions, a wide variety of varieties and rich volcanic soils give Guatemalan coffee a unique depth and a wide range of flavours, from chocolate to citrus.
