Flowers, bergamot, stone fruit, honey - a classic profile that immediately says one thing: Ethiopia.
This washed Arabica from the region Sidamo, West Arsi, originating from the station Refisa, is the essence of specialty coffee. Grown at altitude 2150 m above sea level., ripens in the shade of eucalyptus trees to later undergo a careful washing process.

The result is a coffee with a clean, floral and citrus profile. It smells jasmine and bergamot, tastes like ripe stone fruit with a honeyed finish.
Light, clear, juicy - ideal for transfer methods such as drip, Chemex or Kalita.

This is the Ethiopia that every filter lover longs for - clean, balanced and full of life.
No sorcery required - just a simple drip and a moment to yourself.

What makes this coffee so special?

Region

Ethiopia is the cradle of coffee and a country where every cup is rooted in tradition. The Sidamo region, in the West Arsi zone, is famous for its high altitude plantations, fertile soils and a microclimate that favours the slow ripening of the fruit. This is what makes the coffee from this region so aromatic, delicate and pure in flavour.

Botanical varieties

Processing method

Washed - a traditional processing method in which the coffee cherries are thoroughly washed and dried in the sun. It gives the coffee the purity, lightness and distinct floral-citrus character typical of the best washed Ethiopian coffees.

What does Ethiopia taste like?

A delicate aroma of jasmine and bergamot flowers, juicy stone fruit notes and a honeyed sweetness in the finish await you in the cup. This is a coffee full of finesse - fresh and crisp on one side, soft and soothing on the other. Perfect for quiet mornings and long afternoons by the dripper.

Ethiopia

Ethiopia is the heart of the coffee world - the country where it all began. This is where arabica comes from, and coffee has been part of everyday life and culture here for centuries. Grown at altitudes in excess of 2,000 metres, it matures slowly in the shade of eucalyptus and banana trees, giving it a natural sweetness and floral aroma.

Each region of Ethiopia has its own unique character, but Sidamo, where this coffee comes from, is considered the quintessence of what is most beautiful about Ethiopian arabica - lightness, purity and notes reminiscent of jasmine, tea and honey. This is a coffee that combines tradition and nature in their purest form.
