Many people are wondering how to use coffee grounds. It turns out that they can be used, for example. in the garden. They can be a real energy boost for plants. All thanks to their potassium, phosphorus and nitrogen content - ingredients that effectively support plant growth.
Which plants will coffee grounds work best for?
We suggest using them to:
- hydrangeas,
- heather,
- blueberries,
- ferns,
- tomatoes.
Simply spread a thin layer of dried grounds around the plants. You can also mix them into the soil in the pot. In the garden, coffee grounds can also form a valuable part of the compost. With them, the composter will speed up fermentation and the quality of humus will improve.

- Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil, such as lavender, and you're done!
Such homemade coffee scrub you can use it for your entire body, even your face - provided you rub it in gently and you don't have sensitive, dry, vascular or actively acne-prone skin. As a result, you will get smooth and nourished skin - without the need for cosmetics with chemical, harmful ingredients.
Remember not to wash the grounds straight down the drain - they can clog the pipe and you'll be calling the plumber instead of relaxing. It is best to collect them with a paper towel or spoon and dispose of them in the bio-waste.
